Breast aesthetics is one of the plastic surgery operations performed to correct congenital or subsequent deformations in the breast tissue and to correct the aesthetic appearance of the breast. In breast aesthetics, it is not necessary to have a functional problem in the breast or to cause a health problem. Being uncomfortable with the appearance of their breasts and wanting to have a different appearance are among the reasons for breast aesthetics.
To Whom Breast Aesthetics Are Preformed To?
Breast aesthetics are performed to people who have deformities in their breasts, who are not satisfied with the appearance of their breasts, and who have health problems due to their breasts. Breast aesthetics, people who have sagging breasts over time, have larger or smaller breasts than they want, and have asymmetrical disorders in their breasts have breast aesthetics.
Breast aesthetics are also applied in case of enlargement of the nipple seen in men. The problem of enlargement of the nipple in men due to hormones is called gynecomastia.

Breast augmentation is an aesthetic operation applied to people who are uncomfortable with their small breasts and whose one breast is smaller than the other. Breast aesthetics is performed using silicone. Silicones used in breast aesthetics are not harmful to human health.
There are many types of silicone that can be used in breast augmentation surgery. Which silicone to use in breast augmentation operation depends on the preference of the doctor and the patient.
Breast augmentation surgery is performed under general anesthesia. 3.5 mm incisions made at the tip and bottom of the breast are opened and silicones are placed through these incisions. After breast augmentation surgery, patients should remain under observation for 1 day.
Breast reduction is applied to people who are uncomfortable with the size of their breasts and who have health problems such as back pain due to the size of their breasts. People with large breasts and therefore experiencing low back and back pain often resort to breast reduction surgery. In breast reduction surgery, breast tissue is removed and the breasts are given a new look.
Breast lift is an aesthetic operation performed for sagging breasts due to reasons such as aging and pregnancy, to achieve a more upright appearance. In breast lift surgery, excess tissues from sagging breast tissue are removed. The position of the nipple is adjusted after the excess tissues are removed and the breast area is shaped.
If a reduction in the volume of the breast tissue occurs with the removal of excess tissues in breast lift surgery, the volume should be restored by placing silicone on the breast area.
Gynecomastia is an aesthetic procedure performed due to growth in the chest areas of men. Some men have enlarged nipples due to hormonal disorders or side effects of various diseases. Gynecomastia is performed by liposuction method. A tube is inserted through an incision made into the nipple and through this tube, the excess tissues in the nipple are sucked.
Breast aesthetics are applied to people who are uncomfortable with their appearance and have problems. After breast aesthetic surgery, there are points to be considered in order for the surgical process to be more successful. Things to consider after breast aesthetics are given below.
- Paying attention to sleeping on your back, not on your face or side
- Wearing a sports bra for a certain period of time after surgery
- Taking a shower 3-4 days after the surgery and being protected from hard water blows in the shower
- Avoiding heavy physical activities for an average of 1 month after surgery
